HIS DEATH

God the Father asked Jesus to pay the price for all the sin in the world. Jesus responded to His Father’s will.

Jesus willingly allowed evil men to conspire together and they nailed Jesus to a cross to die. He died after great suffering.

God’s Son gave Himself as a sacrifice for all of mankind.

READ SCRIPTURE

I PETER 2:24, NIV

24 He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed.

ROMANS 5:6-11, NIV

6 You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly.

7 Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous man, though for a good man someone might possibly dare to die.

8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

9 Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God’s wrath through him!

10 For if, when we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life!

11 Not only is this so, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation.

MARK 15

LIVE IT

Jesus paid it all. Every sin you have ever committed, or will commit, was paid for at the Cross. For this reason we can respond to Jesus by giving Him our all!

Is there an area of your life that you are holding back from Jesus?

Make a list of those things that you find difficult to surrender to Him. Ask Jesus to help you release these things and trust His power and forgiveness today.

PRAYER

“Lord, thank you for dying for all of my sins . . . past, present and future. Thank you for paying the price for my sin and giving me eternal life through your death on the cross. Jesus, I believe in you and thank you for your eternal gift!

In Jesus name I pray, Amen”
