1. PERFECTION

When God created the first man and woman He placed them in a special garden and declared creation no longer to be merely good, but very good.

It was a beautiful and perfect place. They had all they needed. The Lord gave them authority over the creation.

God gave them great freedom. He allowed man and woman to name the animals and they were free to eat of any tree in the Garden. This was a perfect garden; it was paradise here on earth. Man was in perfect relationship with God.

    B.1. PERFECTION . . .

Stop for a moment and imagine the most beautiful, peaceful, joyful scene you can.

The Bible teaches that Heaven is a place like this, a place where the glory of God illuminates everything. There is no more pain, tears, or sorrow.

Make it a practice of picturing the glory of Heaven when you come to God in prayer.

    PRAYER . . .

“Father God, I praise You for Your perfection. You alone are perfect and through Jesus have brought me into a perfect relationship with Yourself.

I know that you are preparing a place in Heaven for those who trust Jesus. By Your mercy and grace, I look forward to this place where I can worship and live for you eternally. In Jesus’ Name I pray, Amen”
