2. FALL OF MAN
Mankind was perfect and innocent. In fact, God preferred that they not know about evil and sin.
He gave them only one rule. Do not eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil because your eyes will be open to the reality of sin.
The evil angel, Satan, who rebelled against God and had been cast to earth, came to them and spoke lies. He tempted them to doubt God’s command.
They gave into temptation and ate the forbidden fruit. They were deceived. Their act of rebellion separated them from God. Man and woman then knew about evil because they did not obey God.
- GENESIS 3:1-7
B.2. FALL OF MAN . . .
What would our world be like if everyone disobeyed God’s laws completely?
What would it be like if everyone lived in obedience to God’s laws?

PRAYER . . .
“Father God, I confess my sin before you today and acknowledge that I am accountable to You for the sins I have committed.
Jesus, please give me eyes to see clearly the deception of Satan in this world. As I stay close to You Lord, I ask for your grace to keep me far from sin.
Thank You for Your Holy Spirit who strengthens and guides me each day. In Jesus’ Name I pray, Amen.”
