5. REDEMPTION
Redemption is a word that means to save, or make right, or to pay a price.
Jesus is our redemption. His shed blood paid the price for our sin. It cost Him great suffering, humiliation and even death
God’s redemption is not by our own efforts, but instead by what God did for us.
- PSALM 32:1
- EPHESIANS 1:7
- 1 PETER 2:24
D.6. REDEMPTION . . .
Jesus makes things right. He redeems our lives from sin, fear, loneliness, sorrow and death (to name just a few)! He gives us beauty in exchange for the ashes of our lives (ISAIAH 61:3).
How does this encourage you today? How is God’s redemption impacting your life?

PRAYER . . .
“Father God, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for redeeming my life through Jesus Christ.
In You, Jesus, I have redemption through the blood You shed. I praise You for forgiving me of all sin according to the riches found in the Father’s grace.
Help me to always remember how great of a price you paid and how much I have been freed from. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen.”
