PAST, PRESENT, FUTURE

The Lord is the God of the past, present and future.

As mentioned, the Bible has proven itself time and time again with prophecy, which is “looking forward.”

The Bible has also proven itself accurately in history and in archeology, which is “looking backward.”

The Bible’s great stories, history and themes are proven parts of the world’s history.

Today we live in the present, and God’s Word is still active. For those who have eyes to see, they will see the fingerprints of Gods handwriting all over the pages, they will hear the gentle words of God. All who love God, love His word.

Names like Abraham, Moses and Jesus are all accepted as historical facts by all historians.

READ SCRIPTURE

2 PETER 1:20-21, NIV

20 Above all, you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture came about by the prophet’s own interpretation.

21 For prophecy never had its origin in the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.”

REVELATIONS 22:13, NIV

13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.

COLOSSIANS 1:15-17, NIV15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.

16 For by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him.

17 He is before all things, and in him all things hold together.
