CALLING
What does it mean to be called?
The dictionary defines “called” as “somebody who makes a telephone call or who pays a visit to someone else.” In a way, that is what the Lord has done for us.
Our Father, God, has called all believers and invited them into His family. The invitation is well planned out, filled with abundance and grace.
We have been given an important title and position in this calling. This calling is eternal and everlasting.
READ SCRIPTURE
EPHESIANS 4:3-5, NIV
3 Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.
4 There is one body and one Spirit-just as you were called to one hope when you were called-
5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism.
PHILIPPIANS 3:14, NIV
14 I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.
LIVE IT
God has called you out to be a disciple of Jesus Christ. You can have great confidence in the power of God. There is no greater freedom than living under the power and call of your all-powerful and all loving God!

PRAYER
“Father, I praise you for seeking me out even when I was broken and lost. You did the work of saving me so that all I had to do was believe. Thank You, Lord Jesus!
God, I admit that I don’t know exactly what you are calling me to as a Christian, but I do know that you are loving, kind, and good. For this reason I look forward to the path ahead. I trust you and believe with all my heart that your call on my life is real and strong. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen”
