GOD IS ETERNAL

Everything has had a beginning. Your life had a beginning. Humankind had a beginning. Earth had a beginning. Even the Universe had a beginning.

God has no beginning and no end. He is not limited by time. God is the only eternal being.

Because of this fact, the future and the past are already completed in God’s view, and nothing escapes His notice. This is God’s eternal plan!

READ SCRIPTURE

PSALM 16:11, NIV

11 You have made known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand.

ISAIAH 26:4, NIV

4 Trust in the LORD forever, for the LORD, the LORD, is the Rock eternal.

LIVE IT

Since God is eternal, it is essential to keep an eternal outlook in our everyday lives. Consider writing down the following statement and saying it out loud every morning for the next 7 days.

PRAYER

“Father in Heaven, I praise You for eternity! Thank you that this life is not all there is. I ask that you give me your perspective on life and keep the truth of Heaven always before me. I want to live for Your great and eternal purposes.

I kneel before You today and picture in my mind Your glorious throne in Heaven. May my thoughts, words, and actions bring You glory today as I live with eternity in mind. In Jesus’ Name I pray, Amen.”
