KINGDOM VS. WORLD
The Kingdom of God is an eternal Kingdom.
Through the power of the Holy Spirit and the promise of God’s Word we live and believe in God’s Kingdom right now.
The “world” thinks differently, it lives in the moment. It is filled with false gods, sexual sin, injustice, betrayal, sickness, death and darkness.
There is a great force of evil (Satan) doing destructive work and our sinful nature is frequently tempted.
We must make up our minds to reject evil and turn from idolatry. We must choose to live in God’s Kingdom and to be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit.
When we love God with all of our heart, mind, soul and strength we live in the eternal light of God and the world’s darkness fades away.

10 your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven
COLOSSIANS 1:12-13, NIV
12 giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in the kingdom of light.
13 For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves,
LIVE IT
The lesson says that God’s kingdom is right now, and you can experience it as you walk with God!
Does it feel like you are living more in God’s kingdom or in ‘the world?’
God’s kingdom has complete reign where there are people that are living under God’s kingship, so you can experience the Kingdom of God whenever you make Him king and ruler in your life.
Pray today that God would give you eyes to see His kingdom at work in you and the world around you
PRAYER
“God, King and ruler, help me to give myself completely to you and your kingdom rule. Give me eyes to see your kingdom at work in me and around me. Use me for your kingdom purposes. In Jesus’ name, amen.”
