God’s Word teaches us that His mercy is new and fresh every day!
Each day will also be filled with challenges, fears, loneliness and despair.

Let’s face it; life can be challenging everyday!

David, a great man of God (in the Bible) didn’t hesitate to cry out everyday to God for mercy, forgiveness and even revenge.
Like David, the Lord created us with hearts full of emotion.

It’s okay to cry out loud to the Lord daily.
Give Him your suffering and pain each day. God will heal and encourage you through prayer.

22 “Because of the LORD’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail.

23 They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.

PSALM 6:2-4, NIV2 “Be merciful to me, LORD, for I am faint; O LORD, heal me, for my bones are in agony.

3 My soul is in anguish. How long, O LORD, how long?

4 Turn, O LORD, and deliver me; save me because of your unfailing love.”

PSALM 42:1 , NIV1 As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, O God.

Do you feel like you hold back emotion when praying to God? Do you think you need to use exactly the right words?

The Bible is filled with examples of men and women who prayed to God from the depth of their life experiences. When you come to God in prayer, acknowledge that He is holy and perfect. God is infinitely greater than your feelings. Daily share your pain and concerns with God as you express plainly whatever is on your heart.

“Father God, You are unshakable and all knowing! Your Son Jesus is perfect. He never fails. And yet, Jesus, I know you felt pain while you lived here on earth. Thank you for knowing my pain. There are times when I struggle so deeply. Why do I feel this way, Lord? I trust you to help me understand your love more and more. I receive your mercy fresh and new today. Help me to keep my eyes on you today and everyday. In Jesus name I pray, Amen”
