THANKSGIVING

Do you know a grumpy person that tends to complain much of the time? They are not much fun to be around.

Well God is not like that; and the Lord does not want His people to be complainers either.

There is a wonderful scripture written by Paul, a great man of God. It says, “give thanks in all circumstances for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”

That’s pretty clear language and it takes faith and prayer to live a life of thanks.

Being thankful is God’s will for our life. It eases our suffering and gives us perspective.

Being thankful is a mindset, Give thanks daily in prayer for your loved ones, food to eat, air to breath and even sufferings.

The peace and fulfillment that Jesus gives?
The beautiful nature God has created?
A close friend? Your family?
A place to live?
Your job?
Your health?
Your ability to think?
Your ability to work with your hands?

PRAYER

“Father God, I truly have SO much to be thankful for. I am so sorry for the things I take for granted. Please forgive me. I want to stop right now and thank you specifically for the many gifts you have given me…In Jesus Name I pray, Amen”
