PRAYING GOD’S WORD

Every person struggles along the path of this life.

We can get lost and stumble in the darkness and lose our way.

Fortunately we have a guide and friend who happens to be an expert trail guide.

Jesus has given us a manual, the Bible, that guides our lives and our prayers. It teaches us God’s will for our lives.

When we pray according to God’s Word we have confidence that we are in God’s will.

READ SCRIPTURE

PSALM 119:105

105 Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path.

LIVE IT

You know you are in God’s will when you are living according to His words recorded in the Bible.

As you spend some time reading God’s word today, choose to pray some portion of what you are reading. For example, if you are reading through Psalm 119 you might pray…

PRAYER

“Father God, ‘Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path.’ (Psalm 119:105)

Thank You for making the path of following you so very clear. ‘Even though I have suffered much; preserve my life, O LORD, according to your word.’ (Psalm 119:107). Yes, Jesus. You know my struggles but I commit my way to you asking humbly that you would help me according to your word. Thank you for delivering my life from all that you have so far! In Jesus Name I pray, Amen”
