PRAYING IN THE SPIRIT

Remember that prayer is talking with God.

The Holy Spirit is willing to tenderly guide you in prayer as you approach the throne of God’s Grace. The Spirit leads and guides us in accordance with God’s will.

The Spirit’s leading is so strong that, “the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express.” The language of the Spirit is Holy and takes time to learn. We encourage you to pray Romans 8 and learn how to pray in the power of the Holy Spirit.

LIVE IT

Even in prayer to God there are times where you may feel overwhelmed and helpless. God cares tenderly for your fragile life and wants you to simply release everything to Him through prayer.

Identify an area of your life where you feel overwhelmed. Now receive the truth of Romans 8:26-27 through prayer:

PRAYER

“God Almighty, I feel helpless today. I breathe a deep sigh in your presence. I am thankful that your Spirit intercedes for me even in this very moment. Holy Spirit, you are bringing my needs before the Father in ways that words can not express. Thank you! In Jesus Name I pray, Amen.”
