REPENTANCE

Everyone makes mistakes, EVERYONE!

Follower’s of Jesus should admit those mistakes, take responsibility and humbly ask for forgiveness. This is called repentance. God is gracious to all who are willing to repent.

Be quick to ask others for forgiveness. Also, ask the Lord for forgiveness. “Blessed are the peacemakers for they will be called sons of God.” Matthew 5:9

READ SCRIPTURE

LUKE 5:32, NIV

32 I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

1 JOHN 4:20, NIV

20 If anyone says, “I love God,” yet hates his brother, he is a liar. For anyone who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, whom he has not seen.

MATTHEW 5:23-24, NIV

23 “Therefore, if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother has something against you,

24 leave your gift there in front of the altar. First go and be reconciled to your brother; then come and offer your gift.
