PRAYING FOR OTHERS
God is love.
God loves all people.
When we pray for others we invite God’s love and light to shine on them!
Through prayer we help build God’s Kingdom.
Praying for others is a powerful privilege.
EPHESIANS 1:15-17, NIV
15 “For this reason, ever since I heard about your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints,
16 I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers.
17 I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better.”
What specifically is Paul praying for in Ephesians 1:15-17?
What kind of attitude and heart does he seem to have for other believers in Jesus Christ?
How does this motivate you when you consider praying for others?
“Lord, help me have a heart for other people. I think about those closest to me right now. God, would you show yourself to them? I pray that they would give their lives to you and come to embrace the love of Jesus. In your good name I pray these things, Amen.”
